Great read; I genuinely loved this. Thank you, Bryan! I also really liked Trevor's comment: HUMILITY. I do, however, respectfully disagree with just one part: "The smarter we think we are, the more likely we are to believe the world agrees with us." This has been my experience: The more I learn, the more isolated I feel. As my personal horizons broaden, I find myself drifting further from the shores of common belief.

Thank you again for this great article -- I found it to be cognitively stimulating!

Thank you, Hayley. Your insight about learning leading to a sense of isolation struck me, and I’m grateful you shared it. I wonder if the distance (at least for me) might reflect growth, self-care, and boundaries rather than disconnection. Either way, it is a powerful counterpoint. 🙏
