I’ve been working in this lesson too! It’s a strange thing to find this non resistant flow. It’s been there all along but the muscle memory of push is very real. Like a momentum that only stillness can settle

I feel you on this, Megan. That resistance to push is hard to overcome and discern. I find that sitting with it, a brief pause, before the push takes flight creates enough space to justify the push. It’s amazing to see and feel, when it works! ;-)

Horses can teach us so much.

My friend, I have so much appreciation for what you do. I can’t wait to be with you one day with your horses. Miss you!

OMG, that would be amazing. I always laugh, because you, Courtney and I have never been in the same room together… but I feel like I know you both so well… it doesn’t seem possible that we’ve never all connect IRL. It was all those years of H2H meetings every week. They were good times! Here’s to IRL at some point in the future!! The barn door is always open.

Right?! After all these years, the feeling is SO mutual. I also can’t believe we haven’t shared a real in-person hug yet; that will happen!

We're thinking of doing a reunion call for the H2H Club, just to celebrate where each person is now and their journey.

What a great idea!! Would love that! That was such a wonderful community. I am forever grateful. And yes there will be a day for an IRL hug!

Boy do I relate to if I’m doing nothing then I’m failing . Great insight as always

I’m with you on this, the struggle is real. :-)

i feel like many of us are collective rewiring what "intensity" and "achievement" mean.

i was taught that reaching out was ambition. and relentless pursuit was success...if i wanted connection, opportunity, or happiness, i had to go make it happen.

it's sad and disorienting to realize how much of my "career" is unpaid emotional labor. i now spend my days in nature, surrounded by dolphins and horses and my dog (who gives black cat energy). they don't perform for belonging. they don't "reach out" to prove their worth. they just bask in their aura.

i learn so much more from these animals than humans.

Your life surrounded by dolphins and animal energy is my kind of jam! I hear you on all of it. Curiously, where in the world do you live that you get to be around dolphins? So much to be learned from the animals around us.

2 blocks from the beach in San Diego 🐬

wow. This sounds actually wonderful - both the connection to nature and learning from animals as well as the awareness that, at the end of the day, we might have to unlearn what society/work made us believe: reaching out means ambitiion, achieving..... We can learn to attract - by just being our happy selves. Just like the animals....

"By just being our happy selves" is the whole thing. Connection to nature is my favorite place to be, which reminds me that I need more of it. It can be so grounding. Love me a good forest or a body of water soaking up those ions. Thanks, Claudia!

being in nature is also my favorite thing to do. (and also where to work - even with the laptop, my main working tool...on the terrace...). Can't live without a good forest near by me!

I always love your take on this. Your approach with your pups has always been amazing to watch over the years. What a gift to be able to speak to and with your animals. Agreed, we aren't that much different!
