“The world doesn’t reward the busiest person in the room…” so true. And yet so many of us fall into thinking that our flurry of activity will amount to success. A great piece to counter that habit. Thanks, Bryan!
I remember eating in a pizza restaurant in 2013 and seeing a new employee. He was doing everything wrong and the manager was yelling at him, "Bringing water is your first priority! Listening to the customer is your first priority! The counter is your first priority!" etc. Funny how that word has changed.
That's the whole problem, isn't it? The word "priority" used to be singular. It didn't even have a plural until recently. One thing. That's what it meant.

Busyness is the disguise laziness wears when it wants to feel productive.
Good stuff. Great reminder. Thanks.
Thanks G! Good to see you here. Always good to hear from you. :-)
Great article ! The one thing I am stalling on is trying to write a creative piece and see where I end up.
You don't need to know where you'll end up. That's the whole point. Just start. The writing will tell you where it wants to go.
